We
thought we would share some comments with you from past and future
buyers.
It
is always great to hear from you whether you just like our website or
you are enjoying
the horses you purchased from us.

May 2006
I bought a colt off a lady in Didsbury Alberta, she was in tough situation
with the colt. He was two, and as he was still a stud, he was trying to breed
her mare, thinking about it anyway. He was also running the owners calves
through the fence, (she was renting a trailer home from the rancher). I didn't
even want the colt, so I told her "let me see the papers, and if there in
order I will buy him, if not, "I'll pass on the horse". well they were in order
so I bought him and thought, I will geld him, and then try and sell him and
maybe make a little money. I gelded him about two weeks later and gave him
another couple of weeks off. I decided to see what he would do if I threw a
saddle on him, he did nothing, I then thought well, I may as well put a bit in
his mouth, he did nothing, didn't play with it or anything like most colts
would. I thought well I may as well step up on him, he did nothing. So I saddled
my head horse and ponied him down the road with a friend on him, about five
minutes into the ride I just threw her the shank and let her go by herself. the
third time I rode the horse, we gathered cattle on about a section of land with
him, another horse and a quad. The fellow that owned the cattle, said there is
no way that’s the third time that horse has been ridden, but it was. Anyway he's
now four and I am heeling off of him and he is pretty solid on the back end and
I am starting to head some of the smaller, slower steers on him. Now keep in
mind when I say he is solid on the back end, I mean I would enter any jackpot or
a rodeo on this horse and I could mount anyone on him as I live in Arizona now,
so I always have friends and family coming down for the winter. I am
amazed how SMART this horse is, so now that I am done bragging on my horse, do
you have anymore bred like him. His name is Go Dusty Skipper, his sire is
Buckeye Barry and his dam is Twisted Sugar Deck. Please get in touch with me
with any info you have, either buy email, Hope to hear from you soon
thanx Steve Anderson. P.S. I was born and raised in Calgary Alberta and have
only been in Arizona for about a year.

Hi,
I am the owner of Lady Lolo, I call her Ally. You
have her on your website and she is still doing wonderfully. I have kept her in
continuous training with 90 days last year and she is ridden twice a week by a
trainer here. We will begin formal roping and barrel training
soon.
Anyway, I am looking for a really nice bay colt.
Did you have any in your 2006 crop? When will you post them? I have been
looking around but have not found the look I am looking for. I want a bay, no
white...........good conformation and destined to be a nice size 15 - 15.2. I'd
love him to have a good calm nature but the ability to turn on the speed. If
you have any babies that match up with this...let me know. Thank you and God
Bless.

Just thought you might want to see what Lady Lolo
(Out of Devine Freckles and Ms. CircleTwist, 2003) looks like. She has 90 days
training on her and is going back for 30 more. Haven't decided what I am going
to pursue with her....I bought her from Phylis Schroeder when she was 6 months
old. We call her Ally.

Thanks To Kim Cox from Houston Texas for keeping us updated.
Kim
is also a repeat buyer.
Thanks for the email,
Donna. The website works good for me and I love the new
look. I'm so excited about your 2005 foals. PLEASE Don't
forget I have to have a Prince Golden Lee baby if it's a
buckskin. Please don'
t forget me... It
would be
even better if it was a draft cross, but I'll take any buckskin baby
from him. So I'm so excited and I've been praying now for the
last year that he has one or more. So you'll have to email me
once his foals start hitting the ground. Can you tell me who you
bred him to last year for the 2005 foals?
Kim
Hi
Donna.
I wanted to share this lovely pic with you. This
is the 2003 Stretch Filly by Prince Golden Lee. Isn't
she just
lovely. She's currently 980 lbs and stands 15.3. She's
going to be a very very big girl.
I
guess you don't have any babies yet. I sure hope that Prince
Golden Lee has a buckskin. Don't forget I want his buckskin
babies no matter if they are draft crosses or not..
Kim..
Thanks
Gwen Spellicy from Craven, Sask for sending us pictures

99 Grey AQHA mare - Pocos Snappy Leo x
Leos Tweakers

fabulous disposition...& obviously also an easy keeper!
Thanks
also to Erin Spellicy for purchasing Docs Goin Devine. Good Luck in the
future.

AQHA -- Devine Freckle x Two Blue Jill
"Pez"
at 2 years - May/05
Hi Donna,

I just wanted to let you know that Docs Goin Devine
(Pez) has developed into a wonderful looking animal...he looks great
and is still a baby (in my eyes)! He is so curious about
everything and very brave (he will go up to anything!), but still has
personality. He tries so hard to please us! It took almost
no time to halter break him, even less to teach him to tie, he was
almost like an old pro getting his hooves trimmed, and he is accepting
blankets on his back and a sursingle around his belly...and
he spent about 15 seconds figuring out that stepping higher
won't get the sport boots off his feet!
He is a wonderful horse and I am so happy that I was
able to buy him! I can't wait until I can ride him. He was
the perfect horse to help me not give up on horses after losing my last
one.
Thank You so much!

Thanks to
Johnny & Jan Yarshenko from Craven, Sask.
for the
picture and the comment sent on. Johnny & Jan purchased Skip
at our 99 Production Sale. Loved having you guys here the end of June
/05 to look at the horses.
SKIP N MIDNIGHT
Gray Sugar Snap x Foggey Skipper
Gray Sugar Snap is Pocos Snappy Leos sire
This kind, well mannered, '99
AQHA buckskin gelding is owned, trained & ridden by Johnny
Yarshenko of Craven, SK. Johnny & Skip have been roping
& treating cattle on pasture for 3 years. This big, stout,
ranch gelding is always calm & reliable. They have
headed & heeled cows & bulls, and doctored many
calves. Skip has been a real asset and gets better every
year.

Deer is from South Dakota and owned Princely Best
"Princes"
Sire.
Thanks
for the updates on Princely Best sons and daughters.
Here is a
picture of a Princely Best son (1987 model) running in the
money at the Black Hills Stock Show here in Rapid City this last
week. I sold this colt to the Iversen Ranch when he was just two
at the Black Hills Stock Show. I wish your horse were
running. He looks like he would be pretty tough in the
arena.
Hope your
winter is going well..
Take care,
Jerry
This filly is a
2003 palomino AQHA x Prince Golden Lee This picture was taken a few
days after her trip to BC where she now makes her home.
Good evening
Just thought i
would send a little pic of cookie a couple of day's ago settling in her
new home. She is in her out side pen. Last night was a big
night for her as they were roping in the arena and the cow's coming do
the ally way in front of her pen. She did not know what was going
on as there were cows running passed her for a few hours she was too
busy looking and running in her pen that she did not wont to eat her
dinner. I will keep you up to date on Cookie's
progress. Hope you have a great night and i will talk to you
soon.
Chandra

Please let me know when your draft cross babies hit the
ground. I'd like to have a chance to get another. I own
Chubs' 2004 colt and I LOVE him. He's a doll and the quietest
yearling I've ever been around. I've attached a picture of him
from about a month ago.
Thanks and good luck with foaling season!

These are some of the comments that
have been sent over the past
few years that we thought we would share with you.
Mrs Moore,
Just to let you
know that Storm (thats what we call her) is healthy and seems
happy. I
am not sure what
you did to her before we got her but keep up the good
work.
She is a very
calm and friendly filly. She has taken to my wife, and
will
rest her head on
my wifes shoulder and loves the attention. She lets my 3
year
old
granddaughter ride on her (bareback with a halter). I was
wondering how
big is her sire
and dam. Our ferrier says by the look of her she is
probably
going to be 15 +
hands.

Dear Blue Sky Ranch
My daughter recently came across your
web site and noticed you have a son of Lenas Powder Playboy.
We owned Lenas Powder Playboy but lost him last fall in a
barn fire. I am pleased to see his colts are doing well. I like
to follow up as much as I possibly can on his colts, as he was a
spectatular horse. Lenas Powder Playboy (McQuay) was a
finished reiner whom was trained and owned by NRHA'S leading trainer
Tim McQuay. He was unshown at the futurity due to an
injury. He was a huge stopper, very athletic and an
excellant minded horse. He has put his mind, abilities, and
conformation on all of his colts. It was very difficullt to find a
replacement for him. We went back to Tim McQuay and purchased a
son of Hollywood Dun It.
I am pleased to see your success with
Powdered in Gold. I would love to here in the future on how he and his
colts are doing.
Thank-you for your time
